Cars... We love em!
No matter what happens, you just can't take them away from us.
Again and again people have tried to come up with alternatives to the big ugly four wheeled monster and failed.
Governments have taxed us so much, they cost most of our wages to keep and the media have condemned them with stories of pollution and environmental damage.
But even with these huge odds against the ancient mechanical monster, they still thrive.
Roaming our streets like wildebeest keeping society flowing, people in jobs and food on our tables.
I wouldn't want to think of a life without them.
When is a Car Not a Car?
Now theres two ways of building a car.
One: you start with the passengers and build a moving bubble around them, then somehow make it look like a car.
Or two: you start with a car and try to fit the people in it somehow.
As you probably guessed by my attitude, the later is my preference.
I'm not a big fan of the environmentaly sound, practical, civilised, polite looking things roaming the streets of today.
Sure they get you from A to B, but thats all they do.
I like my cars to scare people.
The bigger, louder, uglier and more powerfull the better.
In this area of my web page I'm going to talk about my two favourite things.
The awesome V8 engine and the lumps of metal they sit in!
As well as this is a link to a serious V8 project car a friend of mine is building based on a good old British Ford Cortina.
Conversion Utilities
New to this section is a set of conversion utilities developed by myself and Mike from
www.mk5cortinaestate.co.uk.
We developed these to solve common mathematical problems we come across when configuring our vehicles to get the most out of them.
All opinions are my own no matter how offensive and probably bare no resemblance to real life.
